Jean-Pierre Seibel, Shidoshi

Jean-Pierre Seibel was the founder and Dojo-Cho (head instructor) of New York Budo (New York Taijutsu Club). Jean-Pierre Seibel studies many martial arts before meeting Stephen K. Hayes, An-shu and Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, Soke in the 1980's.

He was the senior student of and personal student of Stephen K. Hayes, An-shu and had been training with Stephen K. Hayes when he returned from Japan from is an apprenticeship with Soke (Grandmaster) Masaki Hatsumi in Japan. During is the time in the Bujinkan Dojo Jean-Pierre Seibel made several training trips once and sometimes twice a year to training with Soke Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi and senior Shihan like Dr. Koryu Muramatsu and Fumio Manaka. When he wasn't teaching at the dojo, Through the late 80's to late 90's Jean-Pierre Seibel was under Executive Protection; Jean-Pierre was employed as an executive protection agent for a prestigious international agency. In this capacity he had been responsible for the safety and security of members of certain foreign governments and royal families; serving are a bodyguard for many individuals like Dalai Lama.

Jean-Pierre was one of the founding members of Shadows of Iga Society instructor's guild. In it's time the group was formed to help organize and pass on the knowledge and traditions of the ninja to students in America and Europe. 

New York Budo was a one of the largest Manhattan-based martial arts school in the Bujinkan Dojo for teaching the techniques of Bujinkan dojo's Budo & Ninpo Taijutsu until his retirement from full-time teaching and close the closing down the school in January 2000. Jean-Pierre Currently makes his home in Cold Springs, NY with his wife Rita.
